The WildWater River Experience

Tickanetley Creek or "The Tick" is the main tributary of the upper Cartecay River. The creek almost flows completely through private land the entire stretch from Springer mountain to the cartecay river. The beautiful 3.5 miles of this fishing club comes in the middle of this private stretch. The river comes with a natural abundance of wild rainbows and a large insect life giving anglers the opportunity to use a variety of fly fishing techniques. With the natural abundance of fish in the river we still decided to add 1200 lbs of rainbows and brown trout to maximize the fishing experience. This section of river where we will feed to ensure maximum size and top of the line health in our fish. We are working with UGA's aquatics division on helping sustain a consistent bug life in our river that adds a great value to healthy fishery.
